The Book Writing Coach
Having trained as a journalist gives me an edge as a book coach—I know the right questions to ask and I know what makes good writing.
I’ve also written and published books myself—so not only am I a coach, but also a self-published author.
As a small business owner of 32 years, and having worked for both corporates and small businesses in a variety of roles, I’ve ‘lived’ the business world. No matter what your background, the reason you want to write a book, or the genre of your book, I'm ready to support you on your writing journey.

All book genres welcome!
While many writing coaches and editors specialise in, say, government, or academic, or other nonfiction writing, I have to say that in contrast, I’m a generalist. It’s just the way my career has evolved and I love the variety!
Since the early 2000s, I’ve been privileged to work with many different writers, writing in many different genres. It’d take me a week to make a list of all the genres I’ve worked with!
So whether you write fiction or nonfiction—novels (all genres), short stories, children’s stories, educational stories, self-help books, business books—whatever you want to throw at me, I’ll catch it and take up the challenge!
How we can help
While our business is small, our experience and areas of expertise are wide-ranging. This means we are able to offer services similar to those offered by ‘conglomerate’ editing companies – but with the personal touch.
